Sports Registration for winter sports is now open. Deadline to register for fall sports is 11/1/24. No exceptions.  We are using Big Teams again as our sports website and registration.   

Below are the instructions to register, however here is a “cheat sheet” to assist you with returning athletes and new athletes:

As we prepare for the 2024-25 sports season, GHA Sports would like to inform you of sport’s fees for the 2024-25 season and the process to register for winter sports.  Great Hearts Anthem’s sports website.   You will notice a box that reads “Online Registration” which is where you will go to register and provide a link to pay.  To pay your sport fee, go to the configio payment portal.  Attached are two documents (Big Teams Getting Started  and Great Hearts Anthem Kick Off ) to assist you with registering your athlete and creating your account.  Please note that this might be a bit challenging at first, however as we go through your first year, it should become much smoother.  If you participated in sports last year all you need to do is go to your account, select the sport, upload the forms and pay the fee.  The instructions also give you ways to seek assistance through Big Teams.  Please use this when needed.       

As you know, the fees support our coaches, coach’s wear, uniforms, officials,  travel expenses, bus rentals, rental of fields, tournament entry fees, and functions that support AP athletics. The fees for the 2024-25 season will be $320 per athlete for high school per sport per season. Middle School Sports will be $295 per athlete per sport per season.   

Reminder that all sports are required to have enough participants to complete a team.  If there are not enough a refund will be given. 

 Any team HS or MS could have the possibility of tryouts.

High School Winter Sports include (9^th – 12^th Grade; Boys and Girls): 

Soccer  (Boys and Girls)

Basketball  (Boys and Girls)

Middle School Winter Sports include (5^th – 8^th Grade; Boys and Girls):

Softball (girls)

Baseball (Boys)

Soccer (Boys and Girls)

 Tennis (Boys and Girls)

All MS and HS athletes must complete the following:

Physical (Every Year)

Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Form. (Every Year)

Consent to Treat Form 

High school athletes must also complete:

Brain Book Course and Opiod Training @ https://academy.azpreps365.com/

Consent to Treat Form.  

The Brain Book Course and the Consent to Treat Form only need to be completed once while your athlete is a student at Anthem Prep.  

The deadline for winter sign-up is 11/1/24. No exceptions.   Any sport is subject to cancellation if we do not have enoughsign-ups on time.   All fees are due before practice begins.

Great Hearts Anthem works hard to provide students with the opportunity to enjoy the high school athletic experience while continuing to prioritize academics. As you know, our budget does not afford us the luxury of employing full-time medical staff. While we contract athletic trainers for required events, we are always looking for additional opportunities to both minimize injuries and manage injuries should they occur.
