GREAT HEARTS SCOTTSDALE PREPARATORY ACADEMY: 6
The Eagles won their first game of the year 24-6 over Scottsdale Prep in a hard fought battle between the 2 teams. Matthew Zawislak was named the player of the game with 3 catches for 34 yards and a TD. Matthew also led the way on defense with 5 tackles including 2 sacks!
Alex Stevens had an excellent game with 4 TD passes of 50,48, 37 and 28 yards.
Austin Melancon had 2 of those TD catches and piled up 98 yards receiving. Evan Skelton added a 37 yard TD grab for the Eagles.
Charles Johnson had a nice interception to seal the W and Daniel Hernandez recovered a fumble. Vinny Angelo had an excellent game ancoring the O line while being a big contributor on the defensive side.
