IMAGINE PREPARATORY: 0
From start to finish the Eagles controlled the game. The defense was outstanding not giving up a point for the second week in a row. On offense Alex Stevens had another great game with 4 td passes. He hooked up with Austin Melancon for 3 TD catches and Vinny Angelo for another score. Angelo finished the day with 2 catches for 40 yards and also rushed the ball for 41 yards punishing the defense every time he carried the ball. Liam Melloway turned in his best game of the year with 6 tackles and chipped in with 17 yards on the ground and a nice catch.
Roque Mendiola played outstanding and had a great interception which he returned for a long TD!!!
Nick Jackson had a nice blast through the middle on a 2 point conversion and Henry Wheeler had a huge tackle to end the game.
The O line gave Stevens plenty of time to pick apart the defense. Logan Waddell was a standout at guard limited the defensive rush. Ben Young and Liam Melloway also played outstanding on the line.
